I always like this sentence in Romans chapter 1 verse 20 I think it could kind of apply to what you are thinking about God and Morgan and the birds, etc.:
“Ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature, namely, His eternal power and deity, has been clearly perceived in the things that have been made……”
Hi Bellatrix. I'm going to add that verse to my "Help Verses" I refer to when I'm beginning to feel sadness just for the association you have just made. As I look into it more, I have a feeling I'm going to find many verses that will fit and I think that's why I'm okay "going there." I'm going to try to find some that do not fit, that warn against or something, but I know I'm not saying I believe Morgan is herself becoming the bird or butterfly or whatever, but that somehow her spirit, or God's is allowing the connections to happen. As you can see, I haven't completely thought it through.
I went through the same thing when I lost my mom, and I do believe God has compassion and mercy upon our grief, and that He allows us time and understanding. I also do believe God gives us promptings and dreams etc to comfort us. Like your other friend commented, the glory to be revealed is beyond our comprehension! Praise be to God for His great love for us!
