I’ve never understood the term Happy Memorial Day. It’s a day of remembrance for those that died for our freedom. Our country is so lost. I truly hope you and hubby enjoy the holiday.
I guess you're right, but oftentimes that remembrance is shared with family and friends for a BBQ or other get together, which should be happy. It's important to live and make great memories. I agree our country is lost and that is very unhappy. My dad was a WW2 vet and died in late 2002. I'm glad he doesn't have to see how far we've fallen.
