In our area, the beautiful male cardinals have always been a symbol of someone we have lost. Some days we have 16-18 at our feeders. Praying your heart is healing. Guntersville is a town I’ve not heard since my childhood. Great memories of my AL summers.
I had heard of the Cardinals, too, and once in awhile when I see two flying around together I say hello to my mom and dad. Guntersville is about 25 minutes from me and so beautiful. You'd be surprised how much it has grown I bet. Thank you for your prayers!
