My husband and I often kayak. Our most frequent jaunt is a few miles from our house. There are at least two GBHs that we see regularly. We try, almost always failing, to quietly paddle by without disturbing them. Occasionally we also see beaver or otter - exciting day when that happens. And always turtles, from teeny tiny to big. I think of Johnnie and his mother when I see rainbows (every time, 10 years since he died), now I will think of Morgan and you when I see GBH. Seeing God's beauty in nature also brings peace and reminds me of his promises. Especially the rainbow but all of his beauty. The first year of COVID I spent a lot of time outside, on walks like yours. I lost that in my career depression - I need to get back to it, re-incorporate into my routine. I have been planning a bulb garden for next year and I planted more hydrangeas- so I can bring in his beauty inside after being surprised by the wonder of growing things. Enjoy your Klondike bars - they are delicious!

I think lots of different things over the time span but I don't remember any specific ones either.
