I just got around to reading this. I didn’t know Morgan except through you, but it truly saddened me to learn that the volleyball tournament would not be held in her memory. I it takes me back to never wanting to think our children have been forgotten. Of course, as parents we will never forget and will forever think of them daily. I think parents move forward through their grief, others move on…but it still stings. And yes, all is well, but I’m holding up your “mother heart” to the God of all peace and comfort today. Love you and looking forward to getting together soon.
Hi Susan. Thanks for saying something, and I think you're right. That's a good way to put it. I think it is next Saturday, right? We'll be in touch! Looking forward to it! 💙
Hi Joan, when I read the headline last night, I got so sad myself that I did not want to read the post, because I hated to think about you being hurt. Upon reading the post, I see that you handled it beautifully and gracefully, as you have done everything else. I was very happy to hear that although you are understandably disappointed, you have an excellent plan for the money. I think that is a beautiful tribute to Mo.
Glad you saw the GBH! Love the video and the music!
Have a very blessed trip! Can’t wait to hear about it!
Hi Bellatrix. I was hoping to hear from you! I really had a strong intuition that it wouldn't, and hubby and I were prepared. We had kind of planned one scholarship and done with the money, but when I found out about the cat cage thing, it felt like a much better fit. I hope we will get to meet in person someday (in this world). I know we will in the next one. 💜
I would love to meet you too hopefully here on earth someday, in Texas or even if I come your way I recently did a little research on my family history and it appears I’m a Birdwell, which was one of the first families of Alabama.
I sure love cats like Mo did and I’m so thankful you’ve chosen this shelter.
I’m sorry the tournament didn’t happen. Your tournament is everyday anyway and you have succeeded. Thank you for sharing everything you did about Morgan and your journey. It is priceless. I have learned so much from you. Thank you!
Thank you, IvyRose. You've been on this journey with me virtually from near the beginning in my recollection. God has opened my eyes a lot through this and I'm very happy you have somehow benefitted.

Interesting!
Haha! I was thankful to (finally) find a branch that was not ne’er do wells like the rest of them !
Joan, your gut instinct about the tournament was correct all along & I am so sorry! And, as always, you are a “good sport “😊
So exciting for y’all with Evan in NASHVILLE. WHOOOO!!!!!! Tennessee is a good place 😊😊😊😊
Always know, no matter what happens or does not happen, Morgan’s memory & honor will always remain💕💕
Saving the animals , in her name, sounds perfect!!
I'm sorry my friend but I think saving animals in her name is a lovely tribute.
