Saw this touching tribute to Tim Keller just now, thought I’d share these beautifully written excerpts :

“The Lord saw fit to use cancer to lift the veil. The faint whisperings from another world have become clarion, and the claims of this reality have faded evanescent.

Tim Keller has finished the race.”

I often refer to my moms and brothers passing as their homegoing or ascension day, I think if it as stepping into eternity, and our heavenly inheritance. Not that that makes it easier but death seems like her life is over, but it’s not. Jesus overcame death hell and the grave and in Christ Morgan did to.- she has eternal life in Him glory to God. God is Alpha and Omega- her beginning and end is with him and ours is too! I love your posts Joan, keep writing !! Praying for you always!🙏❤️🙏you’re strong in the Lord.💪🙏🙏

Since losing my mom in 2018 I have been thinking about the best thing to say when you lose a family member or a loved one. I found a neat little article on blue letter Bible app with various ways and terms the Bible describes our earthly departure. It’s very interesting, and I like quite a few of them myself.
