I’m so sorry Joan, I can remember that happening to me when my dad died ( closest thing I have to what you are going through) the emotional rollercoaster, grief hits you like a crashing wave. It’s been 20+ years since he’s gone and I still have moments when it hits hard. It’s the price we pay for loving them soooo much 😢
