Well, I just posted my longer post so I don’t have anything new to say right now. Maybe some of you who view this will play along with me and share a fond memory of somebody, anybody, who you have lost and miss. I’ll start with one of my dad, instead of one of Morgan,so that you all feel comfortable! My dad was older than the dads of any of my friends. He was 44 when I was born. It’s not near as unusual now, but it definitely made him seem old to me. Maybe my love of card games comes from being taught about the suits by him. We were both up early one morning and I must have been really little, probably 4 or 5 years old. Until then cards to me were only about building card houses, which I loved to do. He taught me about spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs. That’s always the order I will say the suits. I sat on the floor and he sat on a green plaid couch I as I remember it. One other funny thing about my dad was that on Sunday mornings, he loved to blare the stereo with the Mormom Tabernacle choir singing “Onward Christian Soldiers” to rouse us out of bed. (I’ll find out if my brother reads this post if he comments or texts me!)

Funny memory of my son, David: When he was 5 years old, I got angry with him one day (but now I can't remember why), and while I was scolding him, David put his hand over his face and spread his fingers out really wide so I could see each of his eyes through his fingers. Then all he said was, "Starfish."
His hand looked exactly like a starfish had sucked onto his face. I just burst out laughing! I couldn't stay angry with him. I don't know how he came up with "starfish, but it worked, no more anger.
I loved your dad and mom💕
