My son died five and a half years ago by suicide. He was 26 years old. I am nowhere healed or over the pain of losing him. But one thing I can tell you from my five years of grief is that people don’t change in response to our loss. We want with all our heart for those friends and family to ‘know and get it’ and respond exactly how we need. My fellow sojourner in grief - this will never happen. They won’t ever change. You are right to forgive but move on without them. This is exactly what I have done. God bless. I’ll be praying for you ❤️

15 ¶ "If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.
16 But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every word may be confirmed by the evidence of two or three witnesses.
17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.
