My prayers for TJ's family. Our love changes when our loved one's die. It becomes one of remembrance and we strive to keep our loved ones alive in everyone's memory. Trite but true.

Thank you for that. I forgot that FindYourHarbor.com doesn't allow copying text. Sorry about that.

And yes, yesterday marked 3 years. A friend here at work who also recently lost her son had the idea of donating toys in memory of our kids. So, yesterday I went to Target and bought Lego kits to donate. T.J. loved building stuff so Legos seem fitting and it gave me a genuine smile as I picked out the kits.

Seeing this post this morning gave me another genuine smile. Again, thank you!

What a wonderful idea. Now T.J.'s love of fixing can be ignited or developed in a young mind and he lives on in this small ripple you have created. I'm glad you have smiled, and if you would like to be a guest poster again, let me know. Also, I like to believe that if we are connected down here, our kids then have a connection in that realm, so now maybe T.J. and Mo pal around together. Did he ever play sand volleyball?(for fun). He looks like he'd have fun and be good at it.

I love to think of his love of building stuff and fixing stuff living on through the Lego donations.

I'm not sure if he ever played sand volleyball but he would definitely have fun doing it!

I'm open to guest posting again. Or I can finally actually use my substack page and cross-post. I haven't hammered anything into the keyboard lately that I thought was post-worthy. Although, that being said, I generally don't think much of my stuff is really post-worthy but if it means something to someone or helps someone else on their own journey then I guess it is.

Thinking of T.J. and Mo being friends now is pretty cool as well. My friend and I were talking about our kids watching us and laughing so maybe T.J., Tanner and Mo are all standing there, shaking their heads, and laughing at us now.

I hope so! I love to picture that. (She almost always liked to hang with guys more than girls)

I enjoy your writing, so please let me know if you start your's up. Otherwise, again, you can post here anytime-just contact me through email. Can you tell what it is? It always helps me to hear from other parents who are travelling this road.

I tried e-mailing through Substack. Don't think it worked. I'm probably missing the obvious though. (which is mostly normal for me, unfortunately)

What a handsome young man that definitely lived earthly life with a caring and positive outlook. May he rest in peace, and may God comfort his father.
