I like summer the best out of the four seasons. I have never minded the heat, or even the humidity. The days are long, usually sunny, the flowers and trees are in bloom. I have wonderful childhood memories of summer swimming all the time, playing softball, and bike riding.
Summer for my kids were trips to the beach, while we were still in California, and King's Island Amusement Park in Ohio. Lots of ice cream!
We had some good times and I wish I could do them all over again. Sometimes I worry that my son won't get married and have a family. Morgan didn't think she wanted kids, but many people told me they'd felt the same way until their late 20s and then one day it changed, or it changed when they met Mr. Right.
I wonder what kind of mom she would have been. She was very career oriented, but also knew if she had a kid, her potential husband would have to be a remote worker, at least most of the time. It saddens me that we don't get to find out, but I can't dwell on these types of thoughts.
By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:3 AMP
She would have been a great mom! She was raised by you :)
I’m with you! Summer is my time of year!😊Someday we will have at least a “winter home” down south so we can enjoy that kind of weather all year!
