I wasn't going to dig into the medical records again yet. I had more yardwork I wanted to do after a long work day, but at that time a torrential rainstorm came through so I went ahead and looked at more pages.
They aren't near as hard to read as you would imagine, and when I find an abbreviation I'm not sure of, the internet is there to give me the answer. I'm very angry, but nothing that I see will bring her back.
All, we've been trained since little children that those in the medical profession are so smart, so honorable, and practically gods. For your own sake, you need to look around and realize times have changed. You MIGHT get some AWESOME people in charge of your care because they are out there. But you might get bad ones, too.
I'd been aware that times had changed, and I did keep my eyes and ears open. But in the setting, I obviously didn't know what I didn't know.
Nothing is going to bring Mo back. I have quite a bit more to look at, but I probably won't write much more on this subject. I pray none of you ever have to go through this.
As always, with Open Thread feel free to comment on any topic at all.
You are so right, over the years everyone trusted their doctor 100% and we trusted surgeon generals, and CDC and FDA, drug manufacturers etc. etc. I don’t know when things went sour, maybe they were never really as trustworthy as we thought. But certainly seems like things have gone downhill last three or more years.
May God’s presence, omniscience and sovereignty comfort you in this time.
Praying for you. It seems you now know what’ happened. Not sure why people are denying what they did to so many. It sickens me.
