After a couple hours of work, I took the dog for a walk before it got too warm. I was listening to a nice podcast, not thinking about anything, but learning something, when just ahead two cardinals flew right across the street 15 yards ahead. Guess what? It didn't mean a thing haha! Gotcha! I know cardinals fly around all the time. I don't always see them as signs even though I did on Saturday!
I'd gotten a lot of sleep and felt good today physically. At 5 o'clock I had a really great counseling appointment. Not everyone gets a good counselor, and I would recommend this man to anyone. He is very biblically knowledgeable, very personable, offers illustrations from his own family life, and moves the ball forward. I am looking forward to sharing some of his insights with a couple of the women that I met this past weekend.
Tonight I will end with a Bible verse. Feel free to comment on anything at all!
But don’t let it faze you. Stick with what you learned and believed, sure of the integrity of your teachers—why, you took in the sacred Scriptures with your mother’s milk! There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.
2 Timothy 3:14-17 MSG
Oh they always mean something. You just chose not to feel it that day :)
