Open Thread Post 57

Very busy today. Up at 430 to get my son from Nashville airport by 715. He was actually in the air a shorter time than I was on the road. I worked a few hours and we walked the dog together at Cathedral Caverns, the place with the running water streams downhill I posted pictures of a couple weeks ago. They may have actually recorded “nature sounds” videos there lol.

We had a nice dinner and all watched a movie tonight. I was too busy to think about what day it was, and I'm feeling some sadness creep in as I type this, but I'm too tired to have an emotional break down, and the one on Friday with its resolutions seems to have done the trick. Resolution One - God reached me through my Role Model friend at such a perfect time. Resolution Two - all of you who have prayed for my strength during this time. Resolution Three - the realization that I would not ask her to come back if it were possible.

It's not that tomorrow won't be hard, it will, but we will get through it together and honor her memory and life, wishing we never lost her.
