As I've taken my daily walks over the past few months, many days I'll be just a couple minutes into it when I realize I'm not walking with a straight posture. My head and shoulders are slightly hunched forward. I can hear in my mind Rule #1 from Jordan Peterson's book, The 12 Rules for Life, that came out a few years ago -STAND UP STRAIGHT WITH YOUR SHOULDERS BACK.
I don't remember much except that it's basically common sense that your mind and body work together. If I want to feel better, then I must walk straighter with my shoulders back. Try it! It's actually not super natural to walk that way, but by golly, when I change up, I somehow do feel more empowered or something. Many times I try to tighten my abs a little, too, nothing major.
I don't want the world to see me, and I don't want to see myself as a sad sack.
The day flew by today because work kept me really busy. It might be one of those nights where I'm actually dreaming of spreadsheets. Yes, that HAS happened. Not much else to say today. Thanks for reading, and if you feel like commenting about anything, I'll be sure to respond.
My day flew by as well. Sounds like you had a perfectly normal day. Are we still allowed to use commas? I sure wanted to. I know nothing is normal anymore.
Thinking of you.
