Open Thread Post 73 - Bad but Count my Blessings

Open Thread is to type out a comment about anything you'd like to. It doesn't have to be related to what I post about.

I can't give any details of what or why, my apologies, but there was very upsetting news today. I'm angry. I will be able to deal with it, but it has completed sucked the energy out of me today, and I was already tired from staying up too late last night.

I refuse to let anything bad overtake me or my day. If I do, the bad guys win. I went about my day as much as possible. Two wonderful aspects that I'll count my blessings for. One, I attended a baby shower of a friend having her first baby. I am very happy for her and it didn't make me sad to be there.

Second, the friend of Mo's I talked to last night began sending pictures of some of their fun times together, and forwarded more from one of Morgan's beach volleyball college teammates, a mutual friend, who was instrumental in getting Morgan her first medical job. This young lady and I texted a bit, and I'm thankful she seems to be doing well.

I've got a lot to do, but it's going to have to wait for tomorrow. I'm taking a benedryl and going to bed. I'll even post early to make up for posting late yesterday. Take care y'all!
